What I'm wearing :
Hat - Urban Outfitters, Chelsea Boots - River Island, Skater Dress - Topshop, Coat - Oasis
Hey guys, so this is just a quick outfit I put together. I was kind of in a rush today before I left the house and so the pictures, and their quality are very poor. Also I took these images before I had put my tights on, so please don't think I'm crazy and left the house bare-legged in these horrible winter weather conditions. The dress, hat and coat are all new items of clothing in which I bought at the weekend and the shoes are a few months old.
Hat - I purchased this hat from urban outfitters on the weekend and fell in love with it straight away. I came across it just as I was leaving the store and thought i'd just try it on for a bit of fun as I honestly don't think I suit hats at all that well, although I love them, I'm not about them on myself. However as soon as I put it on, I loved it!! I've only ever purchased beanie's before and thought this was very different and wanted to try something new and exciting. It's a really comfy hat and I think it can be worn in any season. It also fits really well as opposed to some of my beanies which constantly feel like they are going to fall off my head.
Boots - I've had these boots for a good 6 months now and i'm still constantly wearing them on a day to day basis. They are super duper comfy and I like the fact the elasticated part is in a maroon type of colour which constants nicely with the overall colour of the boot, this being black. I've got several pairs of chelsea boots and this are bar far my favourite. Although I do have a slight obsession and would quite like to by some heeled chelsea's.
Dress - Ok so i'm like ridiculously happy with this purchase from the weekend. I have to be very careful with dresses because i'm not your typical size 8 kinda girl and have pretty big hips and I don't own a perfectly flat stomach. I can't get away with body-con's as unfortunately I do not have the figure and so I tend to go for something that flatters my figure, this being a skater dress. I have so so many dresses of this style and I really love them. This dress in particular is very tight fitting at the top and then slightly flares out at the bottom of your stomach which hides it extremely well!. The colour was another thing that drew me towards this dress, it's a really stunning dark-ish purple colour which is really pretty. I would recommend this dress to anyone who is a curvaceous girl and wants to flatter their figure. Topshop are great for these types of dresses.
Coat - I love love love this coat!. I don't tend to own many coats I'd probably say I only own around 2 because I absolutely hate winter clothing and I'm more of a summery type person and so my wardrobe has far too many summer clothes and not enough winter clothing. However I came across this coat in Oasis and loved the whole design to it. I love the tie tassels as these make the coat look really well fitted and I also like the fact it has a hood as many coats i've liked or purchased in the past haven't had a hood? crazy I know. I also like the simplicity of the colour as it goes well with anything.
